Boshonto Festival Celebrated by Nobodhara Association

13 February 2022 in Bangladesh it is the first day of Bengali month called Falgun. In our culture we celebrate this day with full of joy and happiness through the different types of ceremonies that are organised.

It is a day where people wear colourful outfits usually worn in yellow, orange and red to represent the season Boshonto (Spring). This festival is now celebrated across different counties to hold onto the cultural root and to enjoy the day with the loved ones.

In Sydney, Nobodhara Association celebrated this day with various different cultural food, songs, poems and dances.
