“The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.” ~Oscar Wilde
Shakti NSW organised an event on National Volunteer week, with the theme “Making a world of difference” on 3rd June, 2019. Shakti believes that a volunteer is an important part of the organisation and if their heart lies in social work, they can do wonders by helping and supporting the vulnerable and marginalised section of the society. To encourage volunteers’ work, to recognise them for the best community work Shakti NSW held this event, sponsored by Leep.ngo. Leep.ngo is a not for profit organisation which provides digital literacy to senior citizens. Shakti held this event in in Kurrajong room, 2 Lane street, Wentworthville community centre, Wentworthville.
In this National Volunteer Week event, 20 volunteers from different organisations attended this event. All the volunteers who were there in the event were working on different causes.
Shakti NSW was pleased to have such a wonderful audience for making this event a success and a very special thanks to LEEP.ngo for sponsoring this event. Shakti NSW is looking forward to work with Leep.ngo for future projects.
